Legal services may be provided by individual attorneys-at-law or by an attorneys-at-law firm, in accordance with applicable Slovenian legislation and the rules of the Slovenian Bar Association. This Legal Notice is intended to provide general information about the status of the firm and the terms governing the use of this website and related communications.

KBP is a law firm organised under Slovenian law and registered in the relevant registers in accordance with applicable legislation and professional rules.

References on this website to “KBP”, “the firm”, “we”, “us”, “our”, or similar expressions refer to Kavčič, Bračun & Partners Attorneys-at-Law, Ltd., unless expressly stated otherwise. Any firm name, logo, and other identifiers may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
4. Language versions
Where content is made available in more than one language, the Slovenian-language version shall prevail in the event of discrepancies, unless expressly stated otherwise.
6. Confidentiality of communications (legal privilege)
Communications between KBP and its clients (or prospective clients), and their authorised representatives, are generally confidential and may be protected under applicable rules of professional secrecy and privilege. If you receive any message or attachment in error, please notify us promptly and delete it without disclosing its contents to any third party.
7. Viruses and security
While reasonable measures may be taken, KBP does not warrant that electronic communications or attachments are free of viruses or other harmful components. Recipients are responsible for implementing appropriate security checks and measures.

9. Terms of engagement
We provide legal assistance only under Slovenian law and in accordance with our Terms of Engagement (hereinafter: “TE”). By engaging in written communication with us, you confirm the acceptance of our TE, unless otherwise agreed upon in an official Engagement Agreement (“EL”). There is no need to sign an official EL to be considered engaged as a lawyer. The engagement can also be established by signing a Power of Attorney or via email correspondence and mutual acceptance of terms, conditions, and mandate. In any case, our TE shall apply. Our Policies and Procedures and TE may be amended from time to time. Please check them periodically for updates. Limitation of Liability is an integral part of our Terms of Engagement unless differently specified in writing.
10. Adriala Network and Regional Coverage
Adriala is a collegial network of independent law firms from various jurisdictions. The purpose of Adriala is not to generate legal mandates for independent law firms. The intention behind Adriala is to assist joint clients in cross-jurisdictional matters, helping them achieve their goals in a simplified manner. Each law firm in Adriala advises only on local law and is fully and solely responsible for the advice provided under the laws of its jurisdiction KBP advises exclusively on Slovenian law and is not present in the territories where other independent law firms, which constitute the Adriala legal network, operate. "Adriala" is a registered trademark.
